For Managers & Company Buyers

What You Can See, and How the Training Works

When your company buys Clean-Skills Training seats for your employees, you get a manager view of the training portal. This page explains exactly what that view shows you, how a course is completed, what the tests require, and what happens when someone gets stuck.

Your Manager View

One Page That Shows Your Whole Team

You sign in at the same portal as your employees. Because your account is marked as your company's manager, you see a My company page that your employees do not have.

What the My company page gives you

  • Seats at a glance — for each course you have bought: purchased, assigned, unused, and completed
  • Assign a seat — enter an employee's first name, last name and email, choose the course, and the seat is theirs
  • Automatic invitations — the portal creates the employee's account and emails them sign-in instructions
  • No passwords to manage — employees sign in with a one-time code sent to their email
  • Remove a seat — if an employee leaves, their access ends immediately

The Employee Table

Every Employee, Their Progress and Their Result

Every employee with a seat appears in one table. For each person you see:

ColumnWhat it tells you
EmployeeName and email.
CourseFoundations, Professional, or Complete.
ProgressModules completed out of the total for that course. Once they pass the final test it also reads "final test passed".
Final test"Not attempted", their best score so far, or "Passed" with the score — plus how many of their three attempts they have used.
StatusAssigned (invited, not started), Active (in progress), Completed, or Removed.
CompletedThe date they finished the course.
CertificateTheir certificate number once recognition of successful course completion has been issued, or "being prepared" in the meantime.

Completing a Course

How an Employee Gets From the First Module to the Certificate

The course is taken in order. Each module has a training video, a Workplace Reference Sheet (Complete also includes SOPs), and a short knowledge check.

The video has to be watched

At least 90% of it must actually play, and skipping ahead or racing through does not count. A module does not tick as complete until the video has been watched properly.

The knowledge check must be passed at 80%

It can be retaken as many times as needed. After each try the employee sees which answers were right, with a short explanation, so the check teaches as well as tests.

The next module unlocks

Only when both the video and the knowledge check are done.

The final test unlocks

Only when every module in the course is complete.

The Final Test

Where Completion Is Decided

The final test covers the whole course — 12 questions for Foundations, 15 for Professional, 20 for Complete. Because this is where completion is decided, it is run more strictly than the module checks.

What the portal cannot do for you

It cannot see the room. A printed reference sheet, a second phone, or a coworker sitting alongside is outside the website's reach. If test integrity matters to you, have employees take the final test where a supervisor can see them. The portal shows how many attempts each person has used, so you know when a final test is coming up.

The Training Review

When Someone Fails Three Times

If an employee uses all three attempts without passing, a Training review link appears next to their name in your employee table.

The Training review shows you

  • The questions they answered wrongly on their last attempt
  • The answer they chose for each one

It does not show the correct answers. The point is to show you where they are weak — chemical handling, floor care, restroom procedure — so you can coach them on those modules, not to hand over an answer key.

When you are satisfied they are ready, email info@clean-skills.com and we will reset their attempts. Nothing is deleted: their history stays on record, and they get a fresh set of three attempts.

What You Cannot See

And Why That Protects You

Some things are deliberately kept out of the manager view.

  • Other companies. Your view shows only your own employees. No one outside your company can see yours.
  • Correct answers. Managers never see the answer keys for the module checks or the final test.
  • Individual module quiz scores. You see whether each module is complete, not the results of the small knowledge checks along the way. Those are practice; the final test is the measure.
  • Employee passwords. There are none. Sign-in is by emailed code.

Employees also cannot change their own course access or attempt counts. Only Clean-Skills Training can do that.

Clean-Skills Training is information-based training for general commercial cleaning environments. Completing an online assessment does not prove hands-on workplace competency, and it does not replace hands-on evaluation, supervision or workplace-specific training. It is not designed as training for healthcare or medical facilities.
